Where are these insects found?

Paper Wasp (Polistes fuscatus)		Range from the Northeastern U.S. south to Florida, and west to Nebraska and Texas.
European Paper Wasp (Polistes dominulus)		Location ranges from Maine west to Wisconsin and the Great Lakes, and south to Virginia. Also found in Montana, Colorado, Utah, Washington and California. Expanding into Arizona and Nevada.
Golden Paper Wasp (Polistes aurifer)		Golden Paper Wasps range from Washington and Montana south to western Texas and California. Also introduced to Hawaii.
Paper Wasp (Polistes metricus)		This Paper Wasp has been most recorded most recently as far northeast as Maine. Also known to inhabit U.S. locations from New York south to Florida and west to Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and eastern Texas.
Red Wasp (Polistes carolina)		Distribution is recorded on the East Coast from New York south to Florida and westward to Kansas, Oklahoma and eastern Texas.
Red Wasp (Polistes perplexus)		P. perplexus red wasps have been found in Pennsylvania south to Georgia, and as far west as Kansas, Oklahoma and eastern Texas.
European Hornet(Vespa crabro)		Extends from the Northeastern U.S. west to the Dakotas and south to Louisiana and Florida. They are prominently in New England and Mid-Atlantic south to Northern Georgia and Alabama.
Bald-faced Hornet(Dolichovespula maculata)		Bald-faced Hornets are found throughout the United States, excluding Nevada and Hawaii.
Aerial Yellowjacket(Dolichovespula arenaria)		Widely distributed throughout the U.S. Extends from the Northeast to the Great Lakes states and also the Pacific Northwest south to Arizona and New Mexico.
Blackjacket (Vespula consobrina)		Found in the Great Lakes areas and the Northeastern U.S.; and as far south as Georgia. Also found along the Pacific Coast and the Rocky Mountains.
Common Yellowjacket (Vespula vulgaris)		Found primarily in the heavily forested areas of the Western and Northeastern U.S. Also found on the island of Maui in Hawaii, and Alaska.
Eastern Yellowjacket (Vespula maculifrons)		Extends from the entire Eastern U.S. coast, west to central Colorado and New Mexico.
Forest Yellowjacket (Vespula acadica)		Found throughout Canada-U.S. border states and western U.S. (California, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico).
German Yellowjacket (Vespula germanica)		Primarily found in the Northeastern U.S. but are rapidly expanding and found in limited areas in the Western U.S., such as Washington and California.
Northeastern Yellowjacket (Vespula vidua)		Extends from the Northeastern U.S. west to Minnesota and Iowa, and south to Georgia and South Carolina.
Prairie Yellowjacket (Vespula atropilosa)		Found primarily in the Western U.S. (Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, California, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
Southern Yellowjacket (Vespula squamosa)		Extends from the Southeastern U.S. west to central Texas and Iowa, and north to Pennsylvania and the Great Lakes.
California Yellowjacket (Vespula sulphurea)		Found almost exclusively in California and southern Arizona; also in limited areas of Oregon and Nevada.
Transition Yellowjacket (Vespula flavopilosa)		Found primarily from Minnesota to the East Coast and south to Northern Georgia.
Western Yellowjacket (Vespula pensylvanica)		Extends from the West Coast of the U.S. east to central Colorado and the eastern Dakotas. Also found in Hawaii on the islands of Kauai, Maui, Oahu and Hawaii.
